The Violin House of Weaver has been making fine instruments available to musicians since 1898. William Weaver, his wife Evy (an avid dressage rider), along with his daughter, Kristi Weaver, who is the 4th generation to the shop, are donating a Kono violin to our Auction.
Kono violins are famous for their fantastic, rich and big tone!!! These violins are great for aspiring soloists. Many acclaimed concert artists own the Konos, including Joshua Bell, Robert Lipsit, from The Colburn School--University of Southern California, Michelle Kim, Assistant Concert Mistress at the New York Philharmonic, and Laurie Niles, who runs the website: www.violinists.com
