Item Description
The United States Capitol is the center of world power and home to some of the most important decision-making of our time. Experience a tour of the Capital and the Senate Offices with Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal.
The Senator will treat you and three companions to breakfast in the Senate Dining Room. Then it’s off to a behind-the-scenes staff tour of the Senate offices and the Capitol building. This is a special opportunity to see the processes by which our laws are made and to walk the hallways where Jefferson, Webster, Johnson, and Kennedy once walked.
Item Special Note
Does not include transportation to or lodging in Washington DC. Winner must contact the Senator's Washington Office (202-224-2823, Dana Sandman) before August 31, 2014, to arrange a date for the tour. Tours are subject to Senate voting schedules that may require last-minute changes. The tour must be taken before June 25, 2015. Tour is not transferable to another party.
