Item Description
Stuart, the artist behind STUart Jewelry Designs, has been a jeweler for most of his life. He started out as a diamond setter, and then began designing and creating his own jewelry. Stuart is self-taught, and all of the pieces he creates are original designs. The process starts with sketching and carving models. Through the lost wax method and hand fabrication, he then creates the finished pieces. Although he works in traditional jewelry making methods, Stuart enjoys inventing new fabrication methods. Because of his attraction to uniquely shaped beautiful stones, many of Stuart's pieces are one-of-a-kind.
