Print, 13" x 8" This image is taken from Zagnoli's forthcoming edition of the classic book, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, which will be released this summer by Rockport Publishing in their “Classics Reimagined.”
About the Artist:
OLIMPIA ZAGNOLI was born in 1984. After years of doodling she became an illustrator and began collaborating with The New York Times, The New Yorker, Google, Taschen Tommy Hilfiger, Air France, Levi's, Fiat, Yale University and many others. Her style is characterized by soft shapes and chameleonic colors. She lives in Milan in a house with kaleidoscopic floors. Her creations have also been seen in Time Magazine, Marie Claire, New York Magazine, The Washington Post, Bloomberg Businessweek, Rolling Stone, Monocle, AdWeek, The Harvard Business Review, Vanity Fair, The Huffington Post, The Guardian, The Boston Globe, among others. She was named “New Visual Artist of 2012” by Print Magazine and was given the “Young Guns 2011”Award from the Art Directors Club of New York. She was selected for The Society of Illustrators Annual and Exhibition in 2009 and 2013, and the American Illustration Annual and Exhibition in 2010 and 2013. www.olimpiazagnoli.com
