Item Description

Enjoy a waterfront tour for four people of Essex Harbor and the Connecticut River with Executive Director of the Connecticut River Museum, Chris Dobbs, on his rare 1959 Keller Kraft runabout.  This newly restored 17’ open boat will take you back to a simpler time on the River.  Make your own waves and mahogany memories as you Rock & Roll to the music of Fats Domino, Nat King Cole, B. B. King, Little Richard and Elvis Presley (or select your own musical taste).  Then drop anchor off one of the islands or in Hamburg Cove and feast on a picnic lunch.  Close your classic Connecticut River experience by letting Chris take you to the venerable Essex Yacht Club for a drink and appetizers.

Package is good for up to four people and includes boat tour, picnic lunch, a supporting membership to the Connecticut River Museum (also includes access to 40 other maritime museums), and a drink at the Essex Yacht Club.  It is available August 15 – October 15, 2015 (weekends preferred) and is dependent on mutual availability and Mother Nature.  The excursion will depart from and return to the Connecticut River Museum’s docks.  Please plan on three hours of fun.
