Item Description

Do right by your body when you bid on this lot: the winner receives two one hour private yoga sessions with postural assessment with yoga teacher and exercise therapist Elaine O'Brien, as well as 5 market plates atDig Inn Seasonal Market.

Born in Virginia and adopted by New York, Elaine received her 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification from Laughing Lotus yoga center in 2008 and has been teaching all over the city ever since. She has taught at Laughing Lotus, Park Slope Yoga Center, and currently teaches at Equinox Gym.

Elaine’s practice draws from her creative background in theater and dance, with a focus on breath centered awareness. Powerful sequencing, precise alignment, and classical yoga philosophy are consistently present in her teaching. A strong personal practice as well as close attention to her students keeps her instruction both relevant and purposeful. With patience and humor, it is Elaine’s intention to strengthen the body, inspire the mind, and enable a sense of clarity.

Yoga is not a one size fits all practice. People of all ages, medical histories and physical types can benefit from yoga, provided the practice is adjusted to accommodate the student. The finer points of alignment, as well as the individual needs of the practitioner are often best transmitted through private instruction. Whether the student is brand new to yoga or has a seasoned practice, the individual attention offered in a private setting can provide a greater degree of depth and understanding. One on one sessions are a great way to develop a personalized practice. Elaine will guide you through a yoga practice specialized to suit your needs.

At Dig Inn, our mission is simple: to make it easier for people to eat well.

We do this by adhering to a Food Philosophy that supports homemade food of real quality and exceptional flavor, and an unusual commitment to 100% transparency.

Health food is so often about what it lacks: fat-free, sodium-free, joy-free. An all around sauce-on-the-side culinary purgatory. Dig Inn is about what real food has to offer – taste, nutrients, seasonality, and vitality.

Bottom line - we believe that you don’t have to be a health food martyr to eat well. Quality, healthful food is about abundance, freshness, and flavor - not deprivation.

Item Special Note

Yoga sessions must be redeemed within one year of winning. Date and time to be mutually convenient and subject to availability of teacher.
