After? Shin Yun-Bok painting on paper. This was purchased in Seoul in 1987 from a gallery and is assumed to be a copy made by a talented artist.
Item Special Note
Sin Yun-Box, born in 1758 was a famous artist of the Joseon Dynasty, later Yi period was known for his genre painting depicting scenes from everyday life, but mostly of the upper class. His depiction of light-hearted and romantic scenes were sometimes challenging for Confucian-oriented society, as he dared to paint scenes with women of "doubtful virtue".
