Item Description
After a two-year renovation, the mighty Kotzschmar Organ reawakens for a glorious season of concerts, demos and tours! The Grand Opening Concert will feature Peter Richard Conte, Grand Court Organist of Macys Wanamaker Organ in Philadelphia; Ray Cornils, Portlands Municipal Organist; and the Kotzschmar Festival Brass. An ever-popular event returns for Halloween with a Silent Film Night featuring Phantom of the Opera and Tom Trenney, organist. In December, the 25th Christmas with Cornils: A Kotzschmar Christmas will feature Ray Cornils, the Kotzschmar Festival Brass, the Parish Ringers and Musica de Filia. The season concludes with Kids, Kartoons & Kotzschmar, a family concert featuring organist Peter Krasinski and illustrator Christina Siravo, and a silent film event in collaboration with the Maine Jewish Film Festival, presenting Nize People and The Golem with Peter Krasinski on the organ.
