Item Description
Can you imagine fresh homemade baked bread every Friday for a year? With this one-year bread subscription to the Casa La Dera Community Bakery you will enjoy one loaf of artisanal bread baked in a wood fired oven available for pick-up form a private home in Bixby Knolls each week. Each week you will enjoy a different type. Varieties include: sourdough french, whole wheat, rye, oil cured olive, ciabatta, roasted garlic, semolina, etc.
"After baking bread at home for almost 30 years I am now embarking on the next phase of my passion for making artisanal breads. I have constructed a wood burning oven typical of the ovens used for hundreds of years in Europe. With this oven I am producing breads, tarts, and pastries for sale to my neighbors in Bixby Knolls, California Heights, and Los Cerritos." --Bruce Alton
Item Special Note
Bread pick-up day is Friday, any time after 4p.m. from a private home in Bixby Knolls.
The bread subscription runs from August 1st, 2014 through July 31st, 2015.
