After the release of On Golden Pond, Ann Fairhurst’s mother gave this lovely loon with her chicks to her husband, to keep him company during the summers at Walloon Lake. One of the most widely recognized birds, the loon is a symbol of peace and tranquility, it brings us back to a simpler, more peaceful time.
