Item Description
The donor of this delightful Felted Orca Ornament, Kari, actually lives in the San Juan Islands, and is neighbors with the J, K, and L pods. This is where she gets her inspiration, and her desire to see the Southern Resident Killer Whales be safe.
Here is a description of her delightful donation:
"Swimming the Puget Sound, the felted orca pod is drawn each spring to visit their home waters around Orcas Island...
Each orca whale ornament is around 2.5 inches long. The whales are needle felted out of black and white wools over a pipe cleaner frame, with a silver hanger. An icon of the Northwest ready to adorn your Christmas tree or to hang year round in a favorite spot."
