Item Description
Growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, Katherine Fenwick spent the first thirty years of her life in the Midwest. She earned her BFA at the University of Louisville, and then her MFA at Oklahoma University. After graduate school, she headed for the East coast, spending eight years in New York City. Katherine's favorite medium is oils, and her classical training is evident in the realistic tone of her artwork. Most of her pieces focus on everyday objects, elevating simple things like paper towels and Dixie cups in the traditional style of still-life painting.
