Item Description
Caitlin is a Portland, Or. girl that relocated to Brooklyn NY. Her heart never really left the NW though, as you can see by her beautiful tribute to the nature of the sea, that her heart and thoughts are closely held by the oceans.
This pendant was cast from the fossil of an Ammonite shell, and it is just a beautiful tribute to the Ocean that we are trying to have Lolita returned to.
Here is Caitlin's information about this pendant:
This silver ammonite was cast from a 160 million year old ammonite fossil from the Jurassic Age, collected in Madagascar. Ammonites are an extinct group of marine cephalopods. Despite their appearance, they are more closely related to octopus and squid than the nautilus.
The ammonite pendant is made in fine silver and measures .6" wide by .78" tall. This pendant is solid and a bit weighty (although not heavy).
