Item Description
Poetry in indigo. This is how artist Lynn Pollard describes the fruits of her creative labors and the piece the successful bidder for this item will receive. Of her love for working with indigo she says, it is "too mysterious and headstrong and spiritual to allow for complete control."
Ms. Pollard works in her dye studio in quiet and solitude and hopes that her serenity and contentment is communicated in her work. The technique that she developed involves the folding of paper and dipping it into a vat of indigo dye multiple times over many days to make the image. She has been a weaver and dyer in the Atlanta area for many years and her work can be seen in "Flight Patterns" at Hartsfield Jackson Airport and at UGallery.com.
