Churchley finds inspiration painting "en plein air" in Western Colorado and the far corners of the world, as she pursues her other passion of travel. Item Special Note
"Rima of the North"
"Rima of the North" is from one of my favorite novels. "Green Mansions" by W.H. Hudson. Two years ago, the mask I created was of Rima in her native environment, the Amazon. This mask is my interpretation of her, solemn, quiet, and wise, hidden in the trunk of an aspen tree, perhaps the most beloved tree in the Rocky Mountains.
