Item Description

Amusing and enchanting, this artist rendered  "Alice in Wonderland" in oils so expertly it should be framed!   Fortunately, the chair serves both artistic and practical purposes. Sure to be the conversation piece in any room,  this fantasy can be yours to cherish and share with your high bid!

ARTIST STATEMENT/INFLUENCE:
I have been creating pastel and charcoal drawings of Alice in Wonderland theme for a few years and given the Friendship Children's Center's focus, Alice's adventures would be an appropriate subject. The chair includes two interpretations of Alice's adventures from Lewis Carroll's original tale "Tea Party" (Back Panel) and "Pool of Tears" (Seat).
