About the Mask: Gregory L. Moore has been the editor of the Denver Post since June, 2002. Previously, he had been managing editor of The Boston Globe since 1994. Moore is a founding member of the Cleveland chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and is a former member of the NABJ board. In 1996, he was named Journalist of the Year by NABJ's New England region. In 2004 he was elected to the Pulitzer Prize Board. He is a 1976 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in journalism and political science and where he still serves as a trustee.
About the Artist: Maureen (Moe) Scance is a graphic artist and award-winning page designer at The Denver Post, where she is a Features Designer. She maintains a studio in Denver's historic Baker neighborhood, and says she "enjoys using a wide variety of media to create narrative works on paper."
