A.J. Watkins is a local designer and artist, born in Denver, raised in Vail, reborn in the Florida Keys. Working across mixed media platforms, A.J.'s art and design history includes writing and editing, graphic design, illustration, art director for a local magazine, and he is a graduate of the UC-Denver Masters of Architecture program. He embraces the Tommy Bahama lifestyle -- RELAX! Life is good. A.J. says his mask is inspired by his mother, who was a Florida girl at heart; she loved to walk the beach, to feel the sand between her toesWhen she fell ill with cancer, it was Hospice who helped uswho watched over us like angels until her last breath.
