Item Description

Jane Diamond is an educator, an entrepreneur and an author.  She has taught students from preschool through college ages for over 30 years, written a fundraising curriculum for children to implement in their classroom (Friendship Note Paper; The Fundraiser That Builds a Community of Learners), and owned a scrapbook store (Memory Magic & More).  She has a Master's Degree in the "Art of Teaching and Learning," and believes that every child has a talent.  Jane is presently substitute teaching in Denver, is a Community Resource, offers after school enrichment and does scrapbooks  for others.  Creativity keeps her energized, and finding out about torn paper collage while volunteering in a kindergarten classroom has given her a way to express herself. This has become a joyful addition in her journey as a life-long learner.

Item Special Note

"So Many Books, So Little Time"

The importance of reading good books to our children cannot be stressed enough! If parents do one thing to encourage and support their children's learning, they should read to them.  Included in my mask, using torn paper collage, are some of my favorite picture books. (It was difficult to narrow them down).  Even kindergarten children can use this medium and feel like artists.
