Uncommon Garden Tour for Four
- Item Number
- 18
Item Description
Few people have seen, or even heard of, this mysterious, exotic, and 'surreal garden'. It began in January 2000, as a traditional Zen garden in the center of a half acre space. Over the course of 14 yrs. it has evolved into a 'surrealistic' Zen garden, guided on its journey by collaboration between the owner and numerous craftsmen and artists. With design elements that include Torii Gates, waves and animal totems such as serpents, dragons, and crows, this garden is an attempt to both display Mother Nature's art and to imitate her work.
Private 'rooms' abound within this space, and a visitor may easily be unaware that anyone else is in the garden. The sound of moving water is a major element in the garden, filtering out manmade sounds, and contributing to this sense of privacy.
Among many plants there are over 40 Japanese Maples with 28 unique varieties.
Join the videographer as she wanders through the garden for the first time. You will be accompanied by music from Silk Road Journeys.

Item Special Note
This 'garden' is private, and entry is by invitation only. The owner, Dan, has graciously offered to guide a tour for four, for an experience that you won't forget!
