Item Description
Michael Garlington
Artists print - silver gelatin print
18 x 22 Framed
This Micheal Garlington photograph has quite a provenance. This photograph was part of solo exhibit in June 2009 in the Jill C Wilson Gallery. The night after the show a thief broke in and made off with 14 of the 20 photographs. The only piece to be recovered was the “Fish Mongers Daughter”. The thief was caught and served his time though no other photographs were recovered. Until June 2014 if was held as evidence. It was recently released and is now up for bid at this years auction.
