This unique bracelet was created using the ancient art of intricate Japanese braiding called Kumihimo. Historically originating in Japan, samurai's utilized this type of braid as a functional and decorative way to lace their lamellar armor and their horses' armor. This technique is still used to create ties for haori jackets and obijimes, which are used to tie on a kimono sash (obi). This is a lightweight yet durable bracelet was made using the finest earth tone Japanese seed beads. It will fit comfortably on a 6.5-7 inch wrist and is sure to bring many compliments for years to come.
