Artists
Item Description
Andi Burnum is a local artist, located in Golden. She is the owner of andichocolates, a chocolate truffle company. When she's not knee deep in chocolate, she pours herself into her art - paper mosaics made of recycled magazine. Tweezers in hand, you'll find her regularly scouring magazines purely for their color. To balance the countless hours of meticulous detail, she says, you will find her doing the following (but not limited to): "cycling, running, hiking, climbing, camping, playing with her two rescued pit bulls or hangin' w/the hubs."
Item Special Note
"Through the Aspens"
"Through the Aspens" is a piece created from our travels to the back country. I'm an adventure junkie and we're always out somewhere. (My theory is that Mondays were made to recover from the weekend.) This mask's inspriration is from a picture I took as we were coming down the jeep road from our summit of Uncompahgre Peak near Lake City, CO. Not being a Colorado native, I am always in awe of the incredible surroundings we find ourselves immersed in. Words cannot describe how fortunate we are to live in a giant playground with such beauty.
