Item Description

The Farming Game "The Game invented on the seat of a tractor" was invented by farmer George Rohrbacher during his many hours of working on his tractor. The Farming Game was manufactured by the Weekend Farmer Company in Washington State beginning in 1979. The game is designed to allow players to simulate the struggles that the modern-day farmer faces. Each player starts with 20 acres of land and completes a rotation around the board, representing a year in a farmer's life, and can increase their chance at having a good harvest and earning more money with "farmer's fate" cards. With a layout similar to Monopoloy, this game is sure to educate and entertain. Comes with instructions, a playing board, game pieces, play money, and "farmer's fate" cards. For 2-6 players.

Included is a cushioned barn toy with attached silo. Inside the barn are 11 farm finger puppets including a cow, horse, sheep, duck, turkey, cat, donkey, pig, dog, rooster and farmer, a soft toy tractor, and plush corn for the grain silo. This toy was made exclusively for the MFA Boston. Made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Made in the Philippines.
