Item Description
The winning bidder will receive a beautiful hand-made quilted runner designed by Nancy Smith and Lynda Milligan and made by quilt artist Dixie Moore of Sew What.
Sew What is Dixie's own business. Inspired by a vintage quilt from the 1930s belonging to her great-aunt, Dixie began to take classes and network with other women, developing her passion and skills to greater and greater heights. Originally a schoolteacher, she would devote her vacations and summers to creating new and wonderful quilts. After Dixie retired, she immersed herself in fabric, patterns, shows and projects to surround herself with color, texture, challenge and beauty.

Nancy and Lynda joined forces in 1981 to establish the Great American Quilt Factory, Inc. in Denver. By the mid-1980s, the DreamSpinners division of Great American Quilt had become the largest independent pattern company in the United States. Dixie combined her deft touch with their wonderful designs to create this one-of-a-kind piece.
This runner, titled "Your Special Day," is perfect to display for any memorable occasion. Now is your chance to welcome it into your own family traditions.
