Item Description

FTD has nothing on this fine bouquet of summer blossoms! Did you know that orange lilies are considered " announcing " flowers, pure and gracious?

Painted directly on the original finish this chair will offer perennial enjoyment, year after year!

ARTIST STATEMENT/INFLUENCE:

The chair is an homage to summer in the garden. It reflects the joy of warm summer days and blue skies. Lilies dominate the chair design lending their graceful curves and hot orange color to the piece. The frilly shapes of carnations in shades of purple and crocosmia in red-orange lend variety to the bouquet. The back of the chair is decorated with the bloom of a Dogwood tree. Both front and back blooms are offset by the blue of an ethereal summer sky.

The bottom of the chair is like resting in clover with an overall printed design like a curtain holding the viewer in suspense waiting for the main show to begin. Open the chair and enjoy inside or out in any season.
