Item Description
The first official quilt trail was begun in 2001 in Adams County, Ohio. Donna Sue Groves wanted to honor her mother, Maxine, a noted quilter, with a painted quilt square on the family's barn in Manchester, Ohio. Currently, there are barn quilt trails in at least 43 of the states and in several Canadian provinces. In honor of the barn quilt tradition, the Adams County 4-H Advisory committee offers this 2' x 2' hand-painted barn quilt square suitable for display indoors or out, on a porch or outbuilding. The square was painted by Patty Moore, 4-H advisor, Adams County.
