Item Description
Mr. Terry Woodall, an alumni to the Spring Fling For Lolita auction, comes once again to the Lolita's Gift Holiday Auction with just the most beautiful rendition of what we all hope and dream of, Ocean Sunswimming side-by-side with her daughter... Lolita.
Here is Terry's own description of his creation:
"Orca sculptures of Ocean Sun and Lolita, carved in Oregon Myrtlewood and stained with a special formula to enhance the markings of the marine mammals. On Ocean Sun, the saddle markings are highly unusual as can be seen on the orca to the left.
Both orcas are mounted on a base of Myrtlewood burl. Terry Woodall specializes in sea life and wildlife sculptures in Oregon Myrtlewood.
Terry uses only 'fallen wood', not any from living trees, thereby leaving the smallest environmental 'footprint' as can be had.
