Item Description
This vintage Lefton china set of two white pink bisque bowls and two taller vases on pedestals. They are very delecate and elegant!
They are bisque on the outside and porcelain glazed on the inside. The very delicate and intricately crafted flowers are the iconic raised roses and forget-me-nots, are on each bowl and on two of the pedestal bases, and are intertwined in with a green vine with leaves. The rim is scalloped.
The detailing is amazing, and this piece is in very nice vintage condition.The bowls measure 8" x 5" wide and 4-1/2" tall. The taller vases measure 5-1/2" tall and 4" diameter.
The marking is a crown in color encircled with "Lefton China Hand Painted Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.” This mark dates this piece to between 1949 and 1955. The two bowls each is hand-written style number 1783 under the glaze on the bottom. and the two taller vases have style number 1043 under the glaze.
