Item Description
Enjoy slipping through the surly bonds of earth with USAF LT COL retired Air Force pilot, Gale Haskins, who has flown over 16,000 hours through typhoons, hurricanes, fog and wind, and even survived thousands of practice landings with student pilots who were always out to get the instructor. You will roar down the Dry Creek Airport grass runway and climb sunward through the tumbling mirth of sun-split clouds in the highly instrumented cockpit of the T-51D, a famous replica of the WWII P-51D Mustang aircraft. From the moment you start the roll, the impressive acceleration will put you back into the seat as we start the climb and reach closer to the heavens. The plane will make a few gentle turns to clear the flight path followed by steeper turns pulling two “G’s” as desired. Following a quick tour around the expanding Cypress area you will return to base (RTB) for a smooth grass landing at Dry Creek Airport. Restrictions: rider must be no taller than 6’2” and weight no more than 215 lbs.
