Lesley Dill works in a variety of media exploring themes of language, the body, and transformational experience often including text and fabric as is evident in this drawing. Her work has been widely exhibited and can be found in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art, among many others. Lesley Dill was named as The Dorsky’s Hudson Valley Master in 2002, and was honored with an exhibition entitled “Lesley Dill: A Ten Year Survey.”
