Item Description
Each year's Château Mouton Rothschild label is designed by a famous artist of the day—in 1973 the artist was Picasso.
Mouton-Rothschild can often be the most dramatic and flamboyant wine of the Medoc region. A heavy reliance on Cabernet Sauvignon combined with tiny quantities of Merlot and Cabernet Franc produce powerful, nearly opaque purple wines, with the wine's tannin dominating the fruit as the wine ages.
