Item Description
What would North House Folk School be without its dynamic team of fabulous interns? These talented individuals are the backbone of the school -- from offering a welcoming smile in the front office, to teaching bread baking, to shoveling endless piles of winter snow; we can't thank them enough for all they do to keep the school chugging along.
But even more importantly, interns make the school's mission sing by leading as the next generation of crafts artisans. During their ten months on campus, interns immerse themselves in coursework at North House to learn new skills and deepen existing ones. Their time at North House culminates with an Open House where they showcase craft from their internships, including a capstone "Sloyd" project.
Support this vibrant group of young people today by funding a half-day of their coursework. Your tax-deductible donation of $100 will deepen their education and refine their training as future craftspeople and educators!
