To the winning bidder, a private tour and tasting at SCHUG Carneros Estate Winery & Robert Hunter Winery, both in Sonoma Valley. Ten people may attend these tastings. To add to the flavor of the day's event, your unique tasting experience will be held in the romantic ambiance of our barrel aging caves. A selection of gourmet cheeses will be paired with these unique wines. As former winemaster of Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Walter Schug crafted the legendary Insignia and Eisele Vineyard Cabernets of the 1970's and early 1980's, as well as America's first Syrah. He founded his own winery in 1980 to produce elegant Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays from the cool-climate Carneros region. Limited bottlings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc round out the portfolio.

Robert Hunter Winery is a boutique winery located in the Sonoma Valley. It has four great wines and all sourced from the estate vineyard.  Limited quantities of Brut de Noirs, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon are produced by our President/Winemaker, Robert Hunter III. In addition, Robert  has a superlative view and an exotic botanical garden. You and nine guests will enjoy a garden tour and wine tasting at the beautiful winery in Sonoma.
