Item Description
Rendered by an unknown painter of considerable skill, this painter features the heavy load a Mayan indigenous man from the area of Solola, around Lake Atitlan, must carry on his back using only the "mecapal" strap from his forehead to help him. He wears his hand-woven typical clothes from that area, and trudges forth, hat in hand.
Item Special Note
The painting is framed in a simple wood frame measuring 22.5 inches by 27 inches.
