Artist’s Statement:
“I have a great interest in the texture(s) of the environment. By focusing on snippets of life here and there, photographing bits and pieces of walls, markets, street life, I am able to extrapolate textures without revealing exactly the content to which it belongs. An example might be reflections of autumn leaves in the water resembling a Monet painting.
My photographs are in private collections throughout the United States. Cards created from my images are carried by several of the small museums in the Los Angeles area, including the Fowler Ethnographic Museum.”
