Item Description

Experience Shakespeare in the places where he lived and worked. The world-renowned Royal Shakespeare Company invites you and a guest to experience four extraordinary plays and meet some of the people who make them come alive. First, join them in London for two of Shakespeare’s greatest plays with one of the country’s best-loved actors. Next, visit beautiful, historic Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s birthplace and RSC’s home. There you will see two beloved Shakespearean comedies, both set in the early 20th century, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the war to end all wars.

While in London, you will experience:

  • 2 VIP house seats to HENRY IV, PART 1 and HENRY IV, PART 2, directed by RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran and starring Sir Antony Sher as Falstaff at the world-famous Barbican Centre. The productions have been given four stars by all major UK media outlets and the Guardian has pronounced Sher a “magnificent, magnetic Falstaff.”
  • A pre-show drink with Mr. Doran
  • A post-show backstage meet-and-greet with Sir Sher

During your visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, you will experience:

  • 2 VIP house seats to LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST and LOVE’S LABOUR’S WON (also known as MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING), directed by Christopher Luscombe
  • Private backstage tour of the Royal Shakespeare Company’s theatres and its renowned costume collection

Your package also includes:

  • Souvenir programs for each of the productions
  • A signed copy of Mr. Doran’s book, The Shakespeare Almanac
  • Assistance in organizing your visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, in lovely Warwickshire
