Join Bob Fuller and the Long Distance Trails Crew of the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference on one of our fall outings. Bob is the inventor of “offset” blazes, now used to mark the Appalachian Trail and other trails throughout the United States and parts of the world.
Learn how to build sustainable hiking trails including, depending on the day and the project, how to move large rocks, bench cut trails, and build stone steps and crib walls. The crew provides the necessary equipment, training, and camaraderie for a fun and rewarding day where you will be able to immediately see the results of your efforts!

All you need to provide is lunch and water, gloves, a smile, and a desire to work hard and safely in the great outdoors!
