"Dr. Lin has been practicing as an occupational therapist since 1997. She earned her BA in economics from University of California, Irvine in 1995, and completed her BS degree in occupational therapy at Loma Linda University in 1997. In 2004, Dr. Lin received her certification in Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) sponsored by Western Psychological Services and University of Southern California. She was admitted to the master's program at San Jose State University in 2007. She completed her clinical doctorate in occupational therapy at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals in the spring of 2013. Dr. Lin has been in full time clinical practice in a variety of settings including acute rehabilitation with brain and spinal cord injuries, adult mental health, hand therapy, long-term care, orthopedics, pediatrics, public school system, and wound care. Presently, she owns and works out of Children's Therapy Studio, a private outpatient clinic for children ages 0 through 18 with emphasis on evidence-based practice in facilitating functional outcomes. In addition to her role as a clinical practitioner, Dr. Lin serves as a clinical consultant and independent assessor for both domestic and international patients. Dr. Lin also volunteers her time as a board member for New Vista School in Laguna Hills, California since 2008. Her primary areas of interests include attainment of academic success for all children, evidence-based practice, sensory integration, administration and management, program development, and preventative healthcare."
