David Schuster was born and raised in Louisville, Ky., where he received a solid foundation in visual art at Trinity High School. He continued his studies and began his professional career as an artist at the University of Virginia. He has since become an accomplished painter, working in many styles and several genres including: portraiture, figurative, landscape, equine and mixed media. David has murals and paintings in both private and corporate collections across the country. He has had numerous solo exhibitions and participated in several group shows.

"I am fascinated by the beauty and mystery of existence here on earth. My art is a response to the world that I encounter and a record of my insights, observations and experiences. The human condition is such that we share in common experiences of sensory stimuli, but perceive and interpret those experiences uniquely. I hope that my artistic expression will not only delight, inform, and inspire the viewer, but also resonate with them on a level beyond pure aesthetics."

David owns and operates David Schuster Fine Art, where he teaches, creates and shows his artwork.
