The Story Behind the Shot: The Reservoir is always the same - always different. An image born just as you see it - no Photoshop to perfect the light - simply ready to be seen.
Artist bio: Andy Romanoff is completely self-taught as a photographer but he has had almost sixty years to work on it. He was shooting stills at thirteen, became a cinematographer and later spent many years developing cinema hardware. All along the way he never stopped caring about photography. Now he does stories for the French photographic website L’oeil de la Photographie and has a growing reputation for his clean and elegant images. Recently he spent six months as photographer in residence at the Pacific Design Center creating the story Seeing the PDC. His current project is 15,000 Buddhas - visible on his website.
