Item Description
Liz Mitsuye Horwitz is a Newton-based artist of Japanese heritage. She applies an obsessive process with traditional Japanese Washi paper to create her unique pieces. She utilizes the imagery of the papers in creative ways, configuring the static scenes into something more dramatic. This piece is based on scenes from traditional Japanese Kabuki.
The piece is 16" x 20", three dimensional on a foundation of foam core
