Item Description
Inspired by Gian Carlo Menotti's twentieth century opera, The Consul, this original, drawing by American visual artist, Stefano Cusumano is signed and dated (1952)
Bidders need not be present at the Gala in order the win this item.
This artwork comes framed and will be mailed to the winner. An additional $12 will be added to the final price to cover handling and postage.
Item Special Note
Provenance: The drawing was given to the opera's original Magda, Patricia Neway. Upon her death, the painting was inherited by Ms. Neway's nephew, Jeffrey Twine.
Jeffrey and his wife, Scottie donated the artwork to The New York Musical Theatre Festival on behalf of Ms. Neway and in honor of her passion and support for the creation of new musical theatre.
