The Holiday Basket has a solid wood bottom and incorporates red & green dyed reed for a nice holiday container for anything from cookies or crackers to whatever your imagination allows! About 7” high and equally wide.

Baskets have always fascinated me; I like the simplicity of the design, and that baskets are functional. I am drawn to the fact that in a short amount of time I can complete a basket from start to finish. I create baskets that are both traditional and contemporary. I use reed for most of my baskets because it is readily available and also use vines and tree barks. During the twenty five years of basket weaving I have enjoyed making, teaching and learning through workshops to hone my skills. I create both utilitarian baskets and also baskets that are purely decorative. I guess I am a basket case! Joan Belles
