Item Description
Mizuna’s intimate elegance, Luca’s graceful Italian, the bustling simplicity of Bones or Marco. Pie at Wednesday’s, casual French at Lou’s, fine cocktails at Green Russell… As wildly diverse as they seem, there is a commonality among the Bonanno Concepts. They share a passion for amazing food, thoughtful service, and for making every meal a special one. Lead by the talent of Frank Bonanno and inspired by the beauty of their Denver home, they believe we all deserve the freshest, the finest, the best – in our glass, on our plate, and at their table. Bonanno Concepts looks forward to serving all.
This mask was created by Dominique Bolish. The mask is titled, "Falcon Eyes". Of this mask she writes, "The eyes of a Falcon in Egyptian as well as Native American cultures represents the Sun and the Moon, the masculine and feminine, the cycles of life and death, and the totality of existence. In Egyptian mythology, the Falcon God was Horus, the God of the Rising Sun, the Sky, and Divine Kingship. He was the Son of Osiris, the guardian of the Dead and God of the Afterlife. "Falcon Eyes" is a reminder that Death is not the end, but the Dawn of a new day; the ascention into an existence so vast, beautiful, and limitless like the sky."
This mask is in memory of Robin Wittke who passed on August 24, 2014 in the care of The Denver Hospice and his loved ones.
"Spread your wings Robin. Your Friend Always, Dominique Bolish"
