Camp Playland is located on eighteen beautifully wooded acres in New Canaan, CT and combines an excellent facility with a mature staff and an outstanding program to offer the finest possible camp experience for your child.
Facilities include three heated pools, ball fields, four playgrounds, a picnic pavilion, a 300 foot zip-line, an open air gymnasium, a pond for boating & fishing, an arts & crafts studio, a nature study facility, a gymnastics and low ropes course area, an archery range, a mini golf course, a golf driving range, basketball courts, three Gaga Ball courts, carpet ball tables, a two-lane Duck Pin Bowling alley, an outdoor theater, music areas, a first aid and nurse¿s office, and separate indoor and outdoor pre-k and kindergarten areas.
The directors and staff are dedicated to providing campers with a safe, healthy, fun-filled and instructional summer. We work hard to guarantee that every Playland summer is fun for each camper. We offer a skill development program that enables each child to grow and learn at their own level. Every camper is encouraged to develop new skills and to grow mentally, emotionally, socially and physically. Campers are encouraged to try new activities but are never forced to participate. Each child's self-esteem is nurtured as an individual and as part of a group.
