Item Description

Enjoy 5 different wines from around the world, including Italy, France, USA and Australia. The 5 outstanding bottles of wine include a 2012 Chateau Teyssier, 2009 Domaine LaFond Chateauneuff du Pape, 2007 Michele Chiarlo, 2012 Seghesio, and 2012 Pepper Jack.

2012 Chateau Teyssier

Saint Emilion Grand Cru, France

Wine Advocate 92 (Outstanding)

"The palate is incredibly pure, with bouquets of violets and black fruits."

Wine has been made at this estate since the 1700s yet todays wines from Chataeau Teyssier are widely regarded as a new-wave, modern-style wine from Saint Emilion. That means spicy, velvety, ripe and ready to enjoy upon release. 85% Merlot / 15%Cabernet Franc.

2009 Domaine LaFond Chateauneuff du Pape

Rhine Valley, France

Wine Advocate 93 (Outstanding)

A powerful and full-bodied blend of Grenache (80%), Syrah (10%), Mourvdre (10%). The nose is complex: cinnamon, stewed fruit, and cherry. After a firm and ample attack of dark fruit on the palate it finishes long with lovely vanilla and peppery notes. The dominating presence Grenache delivers the personality that screams Chateauneuff du Pape.

2007 Michele Chiarlo

Barolo "Tortoniano"

Piedmont, Italy

Wine Enthusiast 93 (Outstanding)

Barolo is the king of Italian wine. And in our opinion, it is the world's greatest wine. "Tortoniano" Barolo takes its name from the Tortonian geological area where these grapes are grown. The soil is dominated by sedimentary clayey marl known as Saint Agatha. The marl is interspersed with bluish-grey sandstone which gives this wine an exceptional elegance and complexity. Aromas and flavors deliver cherries, hints of withered roses, juniper and delicate spices. It is drinking nice right now and will age beautifully for the next 20 years.

2012 Seghesio

Sonoma Zinfandel

Sonoma, California

Connoisseur's Guide 92 (Outstanding)

Edoardo Seghesio first planted Zinfandel on his Home Ranch in Alexander Valley in 1895. To the many Italian immigrants in Sonoma County at the time, Zin was reminiscent of the fruit-driven wines of their homeland. That, plus the fact that it created big red wines ready to enjoy within a year of harvest, led to it becoming Californias grape of choice. This bottle is a blend of grapes from different lots all averaging 25-30 years in age. A small amount of Petite Sirah is blended in the wine for added complexity. The result is tantalizing black raspberry and classic briary flavors in perfect balance the signature style of Seghesio.

2012 Pepper Jack

Barrosa Red

Barossa Valley, Australia

Wine Spectator 91 (Outstanding)

Australias newest, super-premium wine is making its way to the Northern Hemisphere, offering a smorgasbord of iconic flavors from Down Under. This is a beautiful blend of Shiraz, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc aged for a full year in French and American oak. Expect a wine bursting with the taste of ripe, fresh berries, plums and vanilla. Velvety tannins give it a rounded, balanced structure and a satisfying finish. Youre in for a real treat.
