Private Farm-to-Table Dinner for Twelve Adults
www.sixsigmaranch.com
When proprietors Kaj and Else Ahlmann acquired Six Sigma Ranch, a top priority was to create a sustainable ranch with vineyards nestled into nature. Only about one percent of their acreage is vineyard, the rest is a conservation easement donated to the Golden State Land Conservancy to protect in eternity the habitat of deer, bobcat, turkey, wild pig, bear and other wildlife.
The Ahlmann’s take a natural approach to farming the vineyards and making their wines, with a hands-off philosophy, yielding wines that express the personality of the ranch. Six Sigma produces Syrah, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, a Rose, Cabernet Sauvignon and a Cuvee.
You’ll experience a private Farm-to-Table dinner with Six Sigma’s staff taking you through a four-course meal featuring grass-fed meat from the ranch, local produce and local cheeses. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with Six Sigma Ranch wines.
Valid until October 2015.
Included are six copies of Gaye Allen’s, full-color, comprehensive book “Lake County Wine Guide, The Story of a Fascinating Wine Region” that discusses viticulture, winemaking , wine touring in Lake County, with a focus on each Lake County winery, and more.
