OutWatch: Wine Country’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Questioning and Intersex Film Festival kicks off its first year with five engaging films at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts Friday October 24th & Saturday the 25th. Admission to all films and parties is included.

“Blackbird” tells the story of a talented teenager in the Deep South struggling with his sexuality, his faith, and his troubled home.

“Drunktown’s Finest,” is a vibrant tale of three young Native Americans, including a two-spirit transwoman, striving to escape the hardships of life on a Navajo reservation.

“I Always Say Yes: The Many Lives of Wakefield Poole,” is an insightful documentary about a pioneer in erotic gay films and the modern gay rights movement.

In “Anita’s Last Cha-Cha” a tough military reservist remembers her first crush as a 12-year-old.

Heartwarming “Tru Love,” explores the May-December relationship between Tru, a relationship-phobic ne’er-do-well, and Alice, her friend’s mother. Following, is the Closing Night Dance Party with spins by DJ Lori Z.

As an added bonus, you’ll be on the guest list for the invitation-only VIP Party held prior to the Opening Night Film. Tickets to be picked up at “Will Call”.
