Item Description

Add a mix of five bottles of red wine to your wine cellar.

2008 Dubost Paso Syrah

The 2008 Dubost Paso Syrah is a flavorful blend of 40% estate Syrah and 60% from our friend and neighbor, Judy Starr, owner of Starr Ranch. A woody, rustic wine with subdued fruit and pronounced smoky bacon flavors. Structured and with lingering tannins and a soft finish. This wine will age well. Barrels are aged for 34 months. Two-hundred cases were produced.

2012 Wild Horse Pinot Noir

The Wild Horse 2012 Pinot Noir has refined aromas of cranberry, pomegranate and a hint of forest floor. The wine has lush cherry flavors on the palate unfolding into a rich, smooth finish. French oak aging gives the wine structure and depth. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this wine is delicious with salmon, seared duck breast or grilled portabella mushrooms.

2012 Cupcake Pinot Noir

The 2012 Cupcake Pinot Noir has the aroma of cherries that carries through the palate with a touch of red currants and a hint of spice. It’s reminiscent of a cherry cupcake with currant coulis.

2013 Grifone Sangiovese

Grifone (that’s Gree-pho-nay) Sangiovese comes from a family-owned winery in Italy’s Tuscany region. Its nose of raspberry and cherry is intense, its floral, balsamic, the spice flavors are complex, and its long, lingering, satisfying finish is replete with smooth, approachable tannins.

2012 Cal Poly blend

The 2012 Cal Poly Syrah-Grenache blend shows red cherry jam, anise and leather aromas in the glass, which evolve into more complex olallieberry and white pepper flavors over time. This medium bodied wine is lively and delicate on the palate, and displays the expressive fruit and herbal characters typical to cool climate Rhone blends. Barrel aged for eight months.
